Do you take my insurance?
Like most family dental centers, we work with all the insurance companies on a daily basis. We participate directly with some major carriers and for other carriers, we will be happy to file a claim for you on your behalf. Simply give Clarion Dental Care a call and our front desk staff will check your insurance and give you information about your coverage and benefits and process.
Does Dr. Jewell “run on time”?
Dr. Jewell knows your time is as valuable as his own. At Clarion Dental Care we set aside ample time for each appointment and hope that you will not feel rushed in any way during your appointment. While we do occasionally meet circumstances that force us to run behind, Dr. Jewell steadfastly works to maintain appointment times and does usually stay on schedule.
Is the staff friendly?
Yes, in fact most of our staff has been working together for many years and we are a family at Clarion Dental Care and we’ll treat your family like ours! We try to treat each of our patients simply as we would want to be treated. You will be greeted upon your arrival and given personal care throughout your visit. Dr. Jewell will take the time to get to know you and your family and we are always happy to answer questions or go out of our way to make your appointment more comfortable, just ask!
What if I have an emergency?
Call the Clarion Dental Care main office number, if we are not in the office you will be given an emergency contact number by which Dr. Jewell can be reached.
Do you do Invisalign?
Yes, we are able to offer Invisalign but also make our own clean braces right in our office. These are usually a quicker, less expensive treatment than Invisalign that will achieve the same result. After an initial consultation, we can determine if your teeth are a candidate for clear braces and will recommend the best choice for your treatment.
Do you do dental implants?
Yes. Dr. Jewell offers compressive treatment on all aspects of dental implants. He has completed hundreds of hours of in-depth training on dental implants and believes they offer the highest level of patient satisfaction when compared to traditional options such as a dental bridge or partial denture. At Clarion Dental Care we have modern 3D imaging capabilities that allow us to place dental implants in the safest, least invasive methods available today. Dr. Jewell is an active member of the International Congress of Implantoligists.
May we visit your office before scheduling an appointment?
Absolutely! We would love to meet you! Choosing the right dental center for you and your family is an important decision. Stop in & visit, take a look at the view, see if our personalities match, and if you feel comfortable here we’ll schedule an appointment together. Additionally, if you would like to schedule a time to meet Dr. Jewell in the office for a “hands-off” visit prior to an initial exam, let us know! We want you to be happy to be here.
What if I am a nervous patient?
First, please know that you are not alone! Many patients experience anxiety when visiting the dentist. At Clarion Dental Care we have specifically kept the nervous patient in mind and have several ways to make you feel more comfortable available to you during your appointment. We have accommodations on hand like warm blankets, topical gel numbing so injections are nearly undetectable, and an aromatherapy scented office. Additionally, sometimes prescription sedatives may be prescribed prior to appointment as well. But, perhaps most comforting is to know that we employ some of the most modern, advanced dental technologies. These modern dental tools and technologies simply make going to the dentist much easier and less fare invasive than years ago and so any dental work will be done with your comfort in mind.
