Family Dental Center – Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take my insurance?

Like most family dental centers, we work with all the insurance companies on a daily basis. We participate directly with some major carriers and for other carriers, we will be happy to file a claim for you on your behalf. Simply give Clarion Dental Care a call and our front desk staff will check your insurance and give you information about your coverage and benefits and process.

Are you taking new patients?

We are always accepting new patients. We would love to meet you and to provide you with personal care. Please contact the office to schedule your appointment.

Does Dr. Jewell “run” on time?

Dr. Jewell knows your time is as valuable as his. While we do occasionally meet circumstances that force us to run behind, Dr. Jewell steadfastly works to maintain appointment times. At Clarion Dental Care we set aside ample time for each appointment. You will not feel rushed. 

Is the staff friendly?

We treat ALL of our patients as we would want to be treated. You will be greeted upon your arrival, treated with personal care and  Dr. Jewell will take the time to get to know you and your family.

What if I have an emergency?

 Just call the Clarion Dental Care main office number. If we are not in the office, you will be given emergency contact numbers by which a member of our staff can be reached. If you are a regular patient of Dr.Jewell,  they will then contact him and he will be in touch with you as soon as possible.

May we visit your office before scheduling an appointment?
Absolutely! We would love to meet you before you schedule your appointment. Choosing the right dental center for you and your family is an important decision. Stop in and visit. See if our personalities match and if you feel comfortable here. Take a look at the view. We want you to be happy to be here.

What if I am a nervous patient?

Many patients experience anxiety when visiting the dentist. You are not alone. At Clarion Dental Care we have specifically kept the nervous patient in mind and have several ways to make you feel more comfortable available to you during your appointment.  Give us a ring to discuss your sensitivities and we are happy to accommodate as best we are able.

Where are you located?

Our office is located across from Aldi in Clarion, PA. Since we are located only a short distance off interstate 80, we are convenient to Brookville, Marienville, New Bethlehem, Dubois, Rimersburg, Tionesta, Punxsutawney.
